We understand that patients may be anxious about periodontal treatment, and patient comfort is very important to us. All procedures will be thoroughly explained prior to treatment and all your questions will be answered. Dr. Shapiro is specially trained and licensed to perform sedation (twilight sleep) which is not general anesthesia.
